Baked apples with walnut filling in airfryer

Making baked apples with walnut filling is an easy and quick recipe in an air fryer.

Assembling the walnut filling takes just five minutes, and simply taking the core out of the apples, they can be ready for the air fryer in under 10 minutes. While it takes another half hour to cook, you don’t need to watch it, and you can enjoy this mouth-watering, heartwarming dessert right after.

Baking apples in the air fryer with walnut filling makes this classic treat budget-friendly, quick, and delicious.

We like to sprinkle a bit of cinnamon and powdered sugar on top, or if the apple is very sweet, just cinnamon. For larger apples, one per person is usually enough. It’s also very tasty at room temperature.

I ground my own walnut for this recipe, but you can always use ground walnuts.

Depending on the type and size of the apples and the oven, the baking time may be a few minutes more or less, so it is worth checking at 20-25 minutes. Use a needle to see how soft it is in the middle.
