Savory french toast can also be cooked in an airfryer. Prepare the bread slices, eggs, oil and salt.
Turn the airfryer on to heat up while you prepare the breads for baking. Add the salt and oil to the beaten egg. Then roll the bread slices in it.
Put the egg dipped bread slices in the airfryer. Cook at 400 F (200-205 C) for 3 minutes.
Take out the half-baked slices, roll them in the remaining beaten egg and put them back in the airfryer.
Bake at 400 F (200-205 C) for another 4 minutes. You'll get perfectly crispy and delicious savory French toast in the airfryer, almost as if it had been pan fried.
Grate some cheese, add thinly sliced red onion rings and some lettuce for a nutritious breakfast or dinner.
